#iPhone8 #Apple – iPhone 8 News: These 3D Drawings May Be Your First Look At Apple’s Redesigned iPhone : Leakers and rumor mongers are as much part of the tech industry as tech enthusiasts and pundits. Leaks will always be there. It happened before with the Samsung Galaxy S8 and it is happening now with Apple’s next flagship smartphone — the iPhone 8.
A couple of new leaks show more details of the possible design of Apple’s anniversary iPhone. The first one, according to MacRumors, is courtesy of a Weibo user with the handle KK. The well-known leaker has time and again shared details of other devices that have proven to be accurate. This gives a little credence to the images that was shared showing the iPhone 8 on his account. The other leak, this time shared by ifanr, a Chinese tech blog, showed a 3D render of the iPhone 8 similar to what has been leaked before by a Foxconn employee who has seen the final iPhone 8 design.
Most noticeable in the two leaks is that it will not push through with the initially rumored curved screen and that it has very slim bezels giving it a huge display. In one of the images, it is indicated that the bezels measure only 2.577 mm while the side of the screen up to the edge of the handset measures 4 millimeters. The screen measures 5.768 inches diagonally while the device itself measures 137.54 x 67.54 x 4 millimeters.
The images, seen here, were also without the traditional home button which is now embedded under the display. The integrated home button also indicates that it will play host to the Touch ID fingerprint sensor. While this is logical from an aesthetic and practical standpoint, there are rumors that Apple might ditch the idea and place the sensor at the back. This is due to issues with integrating the feature on the OLED displays. Also seen in the 3D leak of the iPhone 8 is the unpopular move of placing the dual camera setup at the back in a vertical fashion instead of the usual horizontal manner.
